TOKSİK LİDERLİK VE ÖRGÜTSEL SESSİZLİK ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİ: ÖRGÜTE DUYULAN GÜVENİN ROLÜ

Örgütlerin başarılarında liderlerin önemli rol oynadığı yapılan liderlik çalışmalarında ortaya konulmuştur. Ancak yapılan çalışmalar çoğunlukla liderliğin aydınlık yönünü ele almakta ve incelemektedir. Örgütsel sonuçlar ve çalışanlar açısından olumsuzluklar içeren liderlik tarzlarına yönelik çalışma sayısının ise oldukça az olduğu görülmektedir. Bu doğrultuda bu araştırma liderliğin karanlık yönü olarak ifade edilen toksik liderliğin örgütsel sessizlik üzerindeki etkisini ve bu etkide güvenin rolünü incelemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda Hatay ilinde Suriye uyruklu vatandaşlar üzerinde ankete dayalı bir araştırma gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma için toplam 500 anket dağıtılmış olup 354 anketin geri dönüşü sağlanmıştır. Basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemine göre veriler toplanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda toksik liderliğin örgütsel sessiziliği pozitif olarak, örgütsel güveni ise negatif olarak etkilediği belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca toksik liderliğin örgütsel sessizliğe olan etkisinde örgütü duyulan güvenin aracı rolünün olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlar literatürdeki çalışmalar ile karşılaştırılıp benzer ve farklı yönleri değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma liderliğin karanlık yönünü incelemesi noktasında liderlik alanına farklı bir bakış açısı kazandırmaktadır.
